The Second Recipient of the TSJ Future Writer Award

The Second Recipient of the TSJ Future Writer Award is …

On 27 June 2019 I presented the Second Annual Timothy S. Johnston Future Writer Award to Katharina Phillips, a Grade 12 Graduate of London South Collegiate Institute in London, Ontario. The award honors writing in one or more of the following genres: Thriller, Suspense, Science Fiction, Mystery, Horror. Katharina’s creative writing teacher, Ms. Gracena Gray, nominated her and on Thursday night last week I awarded her the prize, which consists of a framed certificate, a cash award, a letter, and swag. Congratulations, Katie! I hope you continue your writing, pursue your passions, and as I tell aspiring writers, Never Give Up.
