Lest We Forget 2025

On this day, I remember those who have served, and serve, to protect our rights and freedoms.
I remember those who gave their lives to protect others.
To protect our freedoms.
In Canada, we are very lucky to have one of the world’s highest standards of living, plentiful resources, peace, freedoms, a very high literacy rate, great education, universal health care, long life expectancies, free and fair elections, and most important, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. It’s important to remember that we are the envy of other countries. Our military fought for these rights, and to preserve the rights of others, in conflicts in theatres around the world. Today, our peacekeepers are actively working to protect the freedoms and safety of others.
Remembrance Day 2025.
Lest we forget.
