Months ago, I ran a poll on Life After Gateway for fans/supporters to pick my next scale model for me.

As voted by you, my next scale model build will be AMT 1400: the Klingon Bird-of-Prey.

I have been building Star Trek model kits for the past year, following a forty-year break from the hobby. I have focused on TOS sets released by AMT, now owned by Round2.

In case you are not aware, in my spare time I have been building Star Trek scale models. It is a hobby I returned to after a forty-year break.

I recently completed USS Reliant and have now unboxed and started my next scale model kit.

This one took me a few months. I had stalled on it for a bit, then with a surge of energy, much like that of the Genesis wave, I poured myself back into it and am very proud of the results.
