Blog Post 500!

This is my 500th article here at Life After Gateway.

As I state on social media:

Each day, I post one carefully curated news item from the Science Fiction, Thriller, Mystery, Horror, and Suspense genres. Follow or subscribe to my blog and start your days dialed in to the exciting worlds of Timothy S. Johnston!

I use my site to, firstly, promote my writing and also provide news about my TechnoThrillers. These include The Rise of Oceania and The Tanner Sequence. A Blanket of Steel, my most recent novel, recently received the 2024 GLOBAL THRILLER Award Grand Prize. You can read an interview about it here.

Secondly, on my blog, Life After Gateway, I write and publish original science articles about climate change. My officially stated stance is that it is happening, we cannot stop it, and we need to adjust/adapt our economies to be prepared, and also to shift our focus to industries and manufacturing products that are not only economically feasible, but also combat climate change through their very use. The articles I write are geared toward both climate change and the oceans, because my series with Fitzhenry & Whiteside focuses on human expansion to the ocean floors. This will happen someday, and not only that, it’s already started.
