I am a fan of theĀ Friday the 13th series, and there’s a good reason for this.

If you know anything about me, you know that I grew up in the 1970s, and the television and movies of the time heavily influenced my creative path.

I have been buildingĀ Star Trek model kits for the past year, following a forty-year break from the hobby.Ā I have focused on TOS sets released by AMT, now owned by Round2.

Recently, William Shatner made news in theĀ Star Trek community with comments related to a possible return as Kirk. In this post I will review four possible return scenarios in order of my preference. Keep in mind that these are just hypothetical, and Kirk’s return may not actually involve any of my proposed projects.

If you know anything about me, you know that I surround myself with creative inspirations.Ā My John Carpenter Movie Poster Museum, in my basement rec-room/theatre, is a perfect example:

It was the warmest Halloween in memory. The trick-or-treaters wore some amazing costumes.Ā The most common were Ghostface (Scream) and Michael Myers. There was also one young Freddy Krueger in my neighbourhood, which warmed my heartĀ There were also a collection of the usual superheroes and hockey players.Ā I did not see any examples of Jason Voorhees, who is just as iconic as the other 1980’s slashers.Ā Perhaps it’s a sign that a new reboot of Friday the 13th is in order.
