Fatal Depth is now a 2022 Silver Falchion Best Action Adventure Finalist

Fatal Depth is a Finalist in the 2022 Silver Falchion Awards

Earlier this week, I learned that Fatal Depth had won a First in Category in the 2021 GLOBAL THRILLER Awards.  Almost on top of that news, Killer Nashville announced their Finalists for the 2022 Silver Falchion Best Action Adventure Awards, and Fatal Depth is on the list.

I couldn’t be happier with the news.  It’s validation for the hard work and countless hours researching, writing, editing, refining, marketing, and continuing to work on the series, The Rise of Oceania.  The Shadow of War is coming out this Fall, and I can’t wait for you to read it and meet Sahar Noor.

See Killer Nashville’s Announcement here.

As I wrote earlier in the week:  “The book is an homage to the “Do or Die” mission so common to stories associated with World War 2.  The concept — infiltrate the largest submarine at sea while it’s submerged at sea, blend in with a foreign and hostile crew, sabotage the vessel and bring it down from within — hooks readers and customers when I’m describing it at book signings.  I can see the twinkle in peoples’ eyes while I’m explaining the plot, because it’s incredibly easy to articulate, and it does sound compelling, if you don’t mind me saying.  It’s an action thriller, it’s James Bond underwater, it’s a WWII-style mission, and it’s a Cold War espionage adventure that takes place in a very real near future.”

A big thank you to the award judges.  Also, thanks to the entire team at Fitzhenry & Whiteside!  You showed faith in me and the series, and I am so grateful.  And there is so much more still to come!

Here’s the book trailer, and purchase links below that:
