New Trailer Alert: Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness

I watched this trailer and immediately felt I should share it with you.

This is not normally the genre I spotlight here at Life After Gateway. However, there have been exceptions when something has cultural, historical, or other notable significance. This is such a property. I think most people are fans of Larry David. After all, he gave us Seinfeld and he gave us Curb Your Enthusiasm, shows about not much other than the common frustrations that affect all of us in our day-to-day lives. Those shows are hilarious. This one — Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Happiness — focuses on the founding of America and famous events that are ripe to satirize, or simply to use for comedic purpose.

The Trailer

The limited series of seven episodes, executive produced by Larry David, Jeff Schaffer, and the Obama’s Higher Ground Productions premiered on 26 June 2026 on HBO (Crave in Canada). Each episode consists of four comedy sketches about famous periods in America’s history. While watching the trailer, the important events in history are obvious, but the improvisation and storylines are rooted in present day issues. Clearly.
