Timothy S. Johnston’s The War Beneath makes the list of finalists for the Killer Nashville 2019 Silver Falchion Award for Thrillers
Killer Nashville is an organization honoring the best books of 2018 (of any genre) that incorporate mystery, thriller, and suspense. They host an annual writers’ conference (this year on 22-25 August, 2019 in Franklin, TN), give away scholarships, host writing workshops, and promote new and emerging writers. I’m thrilled and honored to be a finalist this year for The War Beneath in the Thriller Category. Thank you to the organizers/judges who selected the book for inclusion in the awards this year.

The recognition for The War Beneath has been humbling. I am continuing to promote the book and can’t wait for readers to experience more underwater adventure in The Savage Deeps, coming 19 November. My next appearance is at Indigo Cambridge on 10 August, and I will be doing a reading from The War Beneath on 21 August at Round Venue in the Kensington Market area in Toronto, Ontario.
