Hello,

I read this book shortly after its release in 1994. It is a page turner. It brought public attention to the threat of deforestation, and it did so in graphic, horrific detail.
“A deep sea diver is stranded on the seabed with 5 minutes of oxygen and no hope of rescue. With access to amazing archive this is the story of one man’s impossible fight for survival.” — from IMDB

Previously I posted that THE WAR BENEATH was a semi-finalist in the 2018 GLOBAL THRILLER Awards. I found out on Friday 10 May that the book won First Place in the Action / Adventure category. These awards are known as the CIBAs. Here’s the announcement:

I will be at INDIGO MILTON this Saturday, May 4 signing THE WAR BENEATH and giving away free swag.

SF Canada, Canada’s National Association for Speculative Fiction Professionals, has highlighted THE WAR BENEATH on their website today.
Good news from ChiZine Publications, the publisher on THE WAR BENEATH. They are sending the novel back for another print run. Sales have been good and I’m thrilled to announce that there will be more copies of this underwater science fiction thriller available!
This, along with the news last week of the book now being available to purchase in hardcover, are very good signs indeed.
