Today, on 11 November 2024, I’m thinking about those who gave their lives to protect our freedom and way of life.

It was the warmest Halloween in memory. The trick-or-treaters wore some amazing costumes. The most common were Ghostface (Scream) and Michael Myers. There was also one young Freddy Krueger in my neighbourhood, which warmed my heart There were also a collection of the usual superheroes and hockey players. I did not see any examples of Jason Voorhees, who is just as iconic as the other 1980’s slashers. Perhaps it’s a sign that a new reboot of Friday the 13th is in order.

What a ride! I had so much fun playing this. If you are a fan of Trek, and specifically TNG, then I know you will enjoy this immersive and visually-stunning game.

Why do I add so many visuals to my thrillers?
The title is a little misleading. After all, very few scientists deny that it’s happening. In the past decade we’ve experienced the ten warmest years since 1850. I want to be 100% clear about the purpose of this article right from the outset: Human beings have accelerated climate change. The rate of temperature increase is astonishing and utterly unique in the paleoclimatology record. There’s no doubt at all. Even from a passive observer’s opinion, the winters are vastly warmer than several decades ago. Things have indeed changed, and my point is that you don’t have to be a scientist to see that it’s happening/happened.
