Newspaper Article on TSJ
There was a wonderful article on my writing and books yesterday in The London Free Press. The topics focused on my writing philosophy, mission, inspirations, and important themes in my new series The Rise of Oceania: resource exploitation, climate change, and the legacy our fathers leave for us, for good or for bad. I hope you enjoy the article (link below). Thanks to entertainment reporter Joe Belanger.

TSJ and the “Covid Cut”

The “Covid Cut”
I’ve been quarantining with my family since March 13. I’ve barely gone out as we all wait for The Pause to end. I’ve been focusing on writing another book in The Rise of Oceania, along with watching a hell of a lot of news. I have a lot to say about what we’re living through, but will put my thoughts in a future article. ***

TSJ Reviews THE FLY

TSJ on THE FLY Starring Vincent Price
Movie: THE FLY (1958)
Starring: Vincent Price, David Hedison, Patricia Owens
Studio: 20th Century Fox
Sequels: RETURN OF THE FLY, CURSE OF THE FLY, THE FLY, THE FLY II
Writer: George Langelaan (original story in Playboy)
Screenplay: James Clavell! (THE FLY was his first filmed screenplay)
During this Coronavirus outbreak, I took the opportunity to watch the original film THE FLY with my 12 year old daughter. We’re shuttered inside, and while I spend a great deal of my time writing, we’re also watching a lot of movies, streaming shows, and playing games. THE FLY is a wonderful “horror” film from the 1950’s, part of my new BluRay package of FLY films, and has an important message for all content creators and creative writers.

TSJ Meets Kevin Smith at the Reboot Roadshow
While we watch the country shutter its windows as the Coronavirus storm outside passes by, I thought I’d share a happy moment from last month.
In February I had the pleasure of traveling to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto to see Kevin Smith introduce his newest “View Askewniverse” film, Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, listen to a Q&A, then meet him backstage.
